wget http://pyrit.googlecode.com/files/pyrit-0.3.0.tar.gz
tar xvzf pyrit
-0.3.0.tar.gz
cd pyrit
-0.3.0/test

Here is a simple guide to start running Pyrit.

Before continuing, you should have Pyrit installed and working.
You should find three files within this directory that will be of interest for us:
  • dict.gz is a gzip-compressed wordlist
  • wpa2psk-linksys.dump.gz is a gzip-compressed dump of a WPA2-PSK handshake
  • wpapsk-linksys.dump.gz is a gzip-compressed dump a WPA-PSK handshake

Here I will show you how to hack wifi  wpa and wpa2 through pyrit in simple and less steps .. I will continue from right after we create handshake, because I already explained How To Capture Handshakes in my previous posts

   1)    Open terminal And Type “ls”
This Is to show the files in the Home Directory

To make it easier I already copied the handshake and wordlist file into the “Home Folder” Directory

That’s it Your Hack is done, now it will check the password list and give you the result. It’s quite the fast method of Dictionary attack
