How To Create Custom 404 Error (Page Not Found) For Blogger

Hello Friends, today i am going to share a Tutorial on How to Redirect 404 Error to Homepage in Blogger in a very easy way. Normally 404 Error means the page you are looking for is not found on particular site or server if you want to change the content in 404 Error Page (Page Not Found), here is a simple tutorial on how to create custom 404 error page for blogger.




What is the Page Not Found Error 404?

The 404 Not Found Error means that the webpage you were trying to reach could not be found on the server. It is a Client-side Error which means that either the page has been removed or moved and the URL was not changed accordingly, or that you typed in the URL incorrectly. Put simply, a 404 Not Found Error means that the webpage simply does not exist with the URL entered.

How to Recognize the 404 Not Found Error

There are many different ways that you might see this error message on your computer. Be aware that 404 Pages can be entirely customized by the owner of the domain. It can show up any way imaginable but these are some common words that you can look for to know if the Error you see is an HTTP Not Found Error 404

1.      404 Error
2.      404 Not Found
3.      The requested URL [URL] was not found on this server.
4.      HTTP 404 Not Found
5.      404 Page Not Found

How To Create Custom 404 Error (Page Not Found)  For Blogger 

 404 Error Occurs Frequently with many Visitors, then visitors closes the site as most of them dont know that is just a simple error, to prevent this from happening we will decorate the 404 Error page with pics and Interesting stuff, so that people doesnt leave our site. 




Step 1: Login to your Blogger Account 



Step 2: Select The Blog for which you want to make changes 

Step 3: Go To Template --> Edit HTML 


Step 4: Now find This Piece of Code by Press "CTRL+F"

Step 5: All You Need to Do is Modify the content in "Error-wrap" or what ever class you content is in


Just Modify the content in it and you can see the change in your 404 Page Not Found Error Page :D
